A home designed for semi-retired farmers wanting be a bright, open aired space that would balance their love of entertaining neighbours, family and friends, while still providing some of the serenity that comes with the quiet and calming isolation they enjoyed on their farm.

We wrapped the living spaces around a central courtyard, to allow the home to be isolated from the street. When the time came for entertaining, we designed the entire front facade to open through to the central courtyard sharing its calming interior out to the street.
