Somehow things like when & where the Freo Doctor rolled in, when the best sunsets and storms came rolling in across from Rottnest, where in the yard you could escape from the baking sun on the hottest of summer days - they all oddly stick with you as tiny details in those memories even from when you were just a kid. ⁠

Perhaps this is why we place such an emphasis on these details. They're tiny, but they persist with us as part of our memories, each subtly contributing to our experiences even if we don't know it at the time.⁠
